The “Death Valley” music video was inspired by unconditional love. The acceptance from human to human. Or in better words, “ride or die love.”

Director Anna Day conceptualized a different type of love story. One where a lost spirit with blood on their hands meets their journeys savior. The savior offers water from the river to heal and connect. This idea comes from “washing the pain away.”

If the video had one clear definition it would be - We are all worthy of love.

Samiere’s sound can be likened to the soulful vibes of artists such as Sade, Anita Baker, Giveon, and Frank Ocean. However, she bring her own unique perspective and storytelling to create a sound that is distinctly her own.
